SUMMARY:The Shine on the Shore Luau 2026!
DESCRIPTION:Are  you ready to shine? Come out for Worcester Youth and Family’s yearly fundraiser\, where nothing is the same twice and the party brings you to an island paradise!  \nSunset Grille in West Ocean City hosts WYFCS every year for a party full of great food and drinks\, live music\, and games for all- all while raising money to help the families of Worcester County. \nThe Event- \nYour $35 ticket gets you a buffet meal\, a signature Teaser’s Bar cocktail\, a hand-designed party favor\, and access to all of the fun and games! \nThe Games- \nEvery year\, over 500 gold bars are wrapped and protected by our staff. On the night of the Luau\, they are opened by you- with a 1 in 5 chance of winning! Our prizes are offered by small businesses and local partners and can be worth anything from $20 to $200- or more! \nOur 50/50 boards will be walking around as well\, with the possibility of winning up to $1000 in CASH! \nFor the little ones (or the big kids at heart!) we will be playing limbo and hosting a hula hoop contest. \nThere will also be a prize for Best Dressed! \nThe Mission-  \nSince 1975\, we have been working to provide mental health care and community service to the Worcester County area. Our four programs take on different facets of need in our community- \n\nOur clinical Mental Health program offers low-cost and accessible mental health care to youth\, adults\, couples\, and families. Our unique style means there is always a way to match your needs with our therapists\, including sliding scales\, grant offered support\, and accessible Medicare and Medicaid coverage.\nOur Navigation office works on community outreach and financial resource navigation\, making sure our families that are struggling are connected to resources and provided an empathetic way to take charge of their financial situations.\nOur Worcester Connects program houses volunteer mentors\, who take on young mentees from grades 1st-12th in need of a positive force in the community. Our group events offer learning opportunities\, and private mentor/mentee activities provide kids a way to grow their confidence and explore their passions.\nOur Berlin Youth Club offers community outreach\, free events\, and our awesome Berlin Youth Club- an eight week\, free program for the youth of Berlin to have a summer camp experience. From museums to water parks\, we take kids out into the world to experience new things and help them enjoy their summer in a safe way.\n\n  \nTickets will be on sale soon- keep checking in\, and follow us on Facebook or Instagram for even more updates!
