  • Teen Services
    • Teen Intervene (Dorchester and Worcester Counties)- through Community Behavioral Health. Open to ages 12-19. Contact them at 1-844-224-5264 for more information.
    • Worcester County Health Department– Offer events and education for teens dealing with substance use.
    • Cove Recovery Locations in Cambridge, Berlin, Salisbury, and Princess Anne. Accepts insurance (private and MD Medicaid) and works in groups and individuals for co-occurring substance use disorders. Call (410) 548-3333 for more information.
    • Integrative Counseling –Offices in Maryland for drug abstinence, family services, and adolescent intensive outpatient. Call (410) 740-8067 for more information. Currently provides in-person over the bridge and online/virtual for Lower Shore residents.
  • Adult Services
    • Chesapeake Treatment Services Hours of Operation Monday through Friday 5:30am to 2:00pm and Saturdays 5:30am to 9:30am providing adult Medication-Assisted treatment which is a combination of therapy and medications to treat Opioid Use Disorder.     • Open Arms & Hearts Health Services offers a full range of comprehensive outpatient treatment programs and services for those addicted to opiates, alcohol, and other drugs. Hours of Operation Monday through Friday 5:00am to 1:00pm and Saturdays 5:00am to 12:00pm Contac the office at 443-437-7128.
    • Worcester County Health Department– The Worcester County Health Department is committed to recovery and improving the health of the community by providing a wide variety of services specializing in mental health ad addiction issues. Hours of Operation Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Call the Berlin office at 410-629-0164, the Pocomoke office at 410-957-2005 or the Snow Hill office at 410-632-1100 to schedule an appointment.
    • HealthPort’s ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) and Addictions programs are available for varying levels of need. Call (410) 341-3420 to learn more and start your referral process.
    • Worcester Addictions Cooperative Service Health Center (WACS) – 410-213-0202- programming and support onsite. Put on by the Atlantic Club- more resources and events on their website.
    • Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)- Veteran-based programming for finding housing to unhoused veterans with mental health or substance misuse as a barrier. Call St. James AME (Salisbury) at 410-743-1427 or Diakonia (Ocean City) at 410-213-0923 for information.
    • Hudson Behavioral Health call 410-219-9000, 24/7, for in-patient and recovery facility options. Works within various private health insurances and Medicaid.

  • Internet and Phone-Based Resources
    • SAMHSA’s National Helpline can be reached at 1-800-662-4357. They can be reached 24/7 for mental health or substance use needs.
    • Worcester County Peer Warm Line is available over the phone for those that want peer support for struggles with substance misuse – call 844-663-7337 to contact someone. Worcester County residents that need help after hours can go to the 15th Street (Ocean City) Fire Department for live help.
    • Various phone apps for sobriety, connections, and documentation.

    • AA Online Intergroup -meeting directory for online AA meetings with filtering options.
    • Alcoholic’s Anonymous – Another online meeting directory searchable by state and zip code.
