We are seeking a progressive and dynamic leader with proven collaborative management experience to take executive-level responsibility for a family clinic that provides mental health care, youth enrichment and related social services.
WYFCS provides services to populations located primarily in Worcester County with limited service in Wicomico County. The office is in Berlin, Maryland and is open 5 days per week. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. WYFCS has 17 staff and an annual budget slightly over $1 million. The clinic serves more than 1,000 clients per year through four key programs: mental health counseling, court appointed special advocates, youth programs and family resource navigation. The organization is youth focused and envisions a future where youth are well-cared for and seen as assets necessary for community growth.
Salary is based on education and experience and is negotiable. The agency anticipates investing approximately $75,000 in salary with an additional investment in health benefits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have at least a Master’s Degree in mental health, social services, or public/business administration. Education may be substituted for a combination of equivalent years of education and experience in management, budgeting, community organization, and public relations. A minimum of ten years of experience with at least five years in a managerial or administrative leadership position is preferred.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated leadership and management achievements including finance and budget management; grant writing and outcome reporting; experience working with a policy-making board and elected officials; the ability to support and promote organizational values including innovation, trust, staff participation and team management; the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and public officials; is forward-thinking and has a positive track record in forecasting, strategically directing and implementing change; and, a broad knowledge of mental health and social services.

Our outpatient clinic is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic clinician to provide mental health counseling to youth, adults and families. Candidates must be a licensed psychologist, LCSW-C or LCPC.
The ideal candidate will: Take part in all agency training programs as requested; Maintain a high quality of treatment at WYFCS as measured by outcome measures, no-show rates, productivity, client surveys, supervisory evaluation; Complete all regulatory documentation of client treatment and share information in a timely manner with other professionals working with client, both at the WYFCS and, with client permission, outside agencies; Plan and carry out appropriate individual, family, and group courses of treatment relative to the needs of the patient; Collaborate with rehabilitation plans and staff in serving the client’s needs; Provide health promotion and training as requested; Using the electronic medical records, input data and following through seeing services to their completion; Maintain accuracy of assessment and referral skill; Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations; Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
