  • Diakonia:
    • Not Just A Bed. Individuals or families work with on-site case managers to develop a plan to improve their lives and address issues contributing to housing insecurity. Needs addressed include securing employment, health & financial education, obtaining medical insurance coverage, home management and mental and physical health assessment and support.
    • Veterans Services helps veterans at risk of becoming homeless remain in their homes or find other safe, affordable housing through a combination of case management, connection with support programs and some financial assistance.
    • Family, male, and female beds available.
    • Contact Diakonia at 410-213-0923 24 hours a day 7 days a week to complete your assessment and be registered. Once registered you must call at 9am every morning to see if there are spaces available. 
  • The Samaritan Shelter
    • The Samaritan Shelter is a growing supportive organization in Pocomoke City, MD offering assistance in an encouraging and accountable environment to individuals in crisis situations.
    • Family, male, and female beds are available.

  • Ocean City Cold Weather Shelter
    • Open when temperatures are  below 25 degrees Fahrenheit at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. On announced cold weather days, doors will open from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Admittance after 7:00pm must be by Ocean City Police escort.
    • Families, male, and female beds are available.
